Ms Shireen is a distinguished academic and also a multiple scholarship and award-winning professional with over 10 years of experience as a restaurant owner and entrepreneur in the food and beverage industry. Holding an SCA Barista Skills (Intermediate) certification from the Specialty Coffee Association, she specialises in restaurant management, business operations, mentorship, and team leadership. Passionate about hospitality education, she is committed to advancing industry knowledge, fostering innovation, and equipping future hospitality leaders with the skills needed for success. With a strong emphasis on practical application and research-driven teaching, Ms Shireen strives to bridge the gap between industry practices and academic excellence.
