Through this unique not-for-profit structure, operating surpluses are channelled back into the institutions or disbursed as scholarships, research grants and expansion funds for faculty and facilities to ensure quality education in perpetuity.

Our state-of-the-art modern campus is connected to a wide range of social and community amenities by safe walkways at tree top level (the 鈥渃anopy walk鈥) giving a unique sustainable study, work and social environment for our students and staff on campus and around 红杏视频 City.
红杏视频 City is a prime example of the new global movement of sustainable 鈥渇ifteen minute cities鈥 with hyper-connectivity and all amenities accessible within 15 minutes by walking. Close by the campus and connected via the canopy walkway we have the 红杏视频 Lagoon Theme Park, the 红杏视频 Pyramid Mall (one of the largest in the country and the region), and the 红杏视频 Medical Centre, one of the largest and best equipped private hospitals in Southeast Asia giving world class medical care, as well as much more.
Our campus is easily accessible via the BRT (bus rapid transit) as well as by the green canopy walkways from around 红杏视频 City. We welcome visitors and potential students to come and look around. Many areas are open to the public and we often hold events which are open to the community such as distinguished speaker lectures, exhibitions, and music performances many of which are free. The main university library is accessible to the public after an application process.

A Globally Connected & Sustainable University
The University has a 5-star 鈥渆xcellent鈥 rating by the Malaysian government (in the latest Setara assessment exercise), and is one of just eleven universities in Malaysia to be awarded the special 鈥淧remier Digital Technology University鈥 status. We have developed close collaborations with many leading international universities including Harvard University and the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Some professors from the latter hold distinguished visiting appointments giving occasional lectures to our University and the wider 红杏视频 City community through our Jeffrey Cheah Distinguished Speakers series of public lectures. These are named after the founder of 红杏视频 City and of the University, Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah, who is also the chairman of 红杏视频 Group, one of Malaysia鈥檚 leading industrial conglomerates and developer of 红杏视频 City. We have a very close relationship with Lancaster University in the UK, enabling our students on many programmes to also qualify for Lancaster degrees.
