What is APEL.A?
APEL.A is systematic evaluation process involving the identification, documentation and assessment of an individual’s prior experiential learning to determine if they meet the achievement of desired learning outcomes; thereby granting them access into a programme of study at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University!

Why APEL.A?
APEL.A is a programme targetted towards the difficulties faced by lifelong-learning, working professionals; time and budget constraints. APEL.A helps you manage your time and expense commitments while eliminating chances of learning duplication. By assessing your experience against a programme's learning outcomes, you may gain entry into the programme, even without academic qualifications!

What are the Academic Levels of APEL.A?
To be eligible for APEL.A, you will need the following:
- APEL.A T-3 (Certificate Level)
Eligibility
- A Malaysian citizen*
- At least 19 years old in the year of application
- Possesses relevant work experience
*assessments for non-Malaysians to be announced soon
Assessment
The APEL.A Assessment is done online through the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ eLearn portal, consisting of:
- An Aptitude Test assessing Numerical Literacy, English Literacy, Bahasa Malaysia Literacy, and General Knowledge.
- A Portfolio Assessment
- APEL.A T-4 (Diploma Level)
Eligibility
- A Malaysian citizen*
- At least 20 years old in the year of application
- Possesses relevant work experience

Assessment
The APEL.A Assessment is done online through the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ eLearn portal, consisting of:
- An Aptitude Test assessing Numerical Literacy, English Literacy, Bahasa Malaysia Literacy, and General Knowledge.
- A Portfolio Assessment
- APEL.A T-6 (Bachelor Level)
Eligibility
- A Malaysian citizen*
- At least 21 years old in the year of application
- Possesses relevant work experience

Assessment
The APEL.A Assessment is done online through the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ eLearn portal, consisting of:
- An Aptitude Test assessing Numerical Literacy, English Literacy, Bahasa Malaysia Literacy, and General Knowledge.
- A Portfolio Assessment
- APEL.A T-7 (Master Level)
Eligibility
- A Malaysian citizen*
- At least 30 years old in the year of application
- Possess at least an STPM/Diploma/equivalent qualification* (Or those with higher
qualifications) - Possesses relevant work experience

Assessment
The APEL.A Assessment is done online through the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ eLearn portal, consisting of:
- An Aptitude Test assessing Numerical Literacy, English Literacy, Bahasa Malaysia Literacy, and General Knowledge.
- A Portfolio Assessment
- An Interview
