Dr. Ardith Plant (Instructor)
2018 recipient of the Thomas B. Greenfield dissertation award by the Canadian Association for the Study of Educational Administration (CASEA), as the author of the best doctoral dissertation in educational administration and leadership completed in a Canadian university during the previous year.

Dr. Tanya Narozhna (Associate Professor)
Faculty of Arts award: 2015-16 Arts Award in Research Excellence for her co-authored book:

Dr. Peter Ives (Professor)
SSHRC, Insight Development Grant ($64,999, 2016-18). How States Promote Global English: Shifting Priorities in Education Policy. (Dr. Peter Ives, Primary Grant Holder, with co-investigators, Eve Haque (York, Linguistics) and Jeff Bale (OISIE/University of Toronto, Education).

Dr. Ray Silvius (Associate Professor)
Partnership Grant, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada ($2.5 million, 2017-2022).  ‘Child and Youth Refugee Research Coalition (CYRRC): Using Research to Inform Best Practices for Language, Literacy, Learning, Social Integration, and Child and Family Wellbeing.’ (Principal Applicant: Dr. Michael Ungar, Dalhousie University). Role: Collaborator.
Insight Grant, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada ($166,000, 2017-2020). ‘Finding Home: The Secondary Migration of Refugee Children, Youth and their Families in Canada.’  (Principal Applicant: Dr. Lori Wilkinson, University of Manitoba). Role: Co-applicant.
Partnership Grant, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada ($2.5 million, 2014-2021). 'Rural Policy Learning Commons.' Role: Co-applicant.
Partnership Grant, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada ($2.5 Million, 2012-2019). 'Partnering for Change: Community-Based Solutions for Aboriginal and Inner-City Poverty.'  (Principal Investigator, Dr. John Loxley, University of Manitoba).  Manitoba Research Alliance.  Role: Co-applicant.
