We are excited to announce that the Research Centre for Human-Machine Collaboration (HUMAC) has secured RM272,160 in international industry funding through a 7-year strategic collaboration with Aerosense Inc. and Sumitomo Corp. under the project “Aerosense’s VTOL Business Expansion in ASEAN”. Formalized via an MOA, this partnership focuses on after-sales support services for Malaysia and ASEAN markets. The project leverages the expertise of HUMAC’s interdisciplinary team, led by Prof. Yap Kian Meng, Master’s student Chew Zhe Zhi, PhD candidate Teoh Jiehan, and supported by the broader HUMAC research team. This milestone reinforces our leadership in aerospace innovation and industry-driven research commercialization.
