ºìÐÓÊÓƵ–Cambridge Collaboration Publishes Breakthrough Study in Nature Genetics

We are delighted to share the publication of a high-impact paper in Nature Genetics by Dr Gene Ching Chiek Koh, Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences (FMLS), ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University, in collaboration with the University of Cambridge.

This groundbreaking research introduces a new classification system for insertions and deletions (InDels), unveiling 89 unique subtypes through isogenic CRISPR-edited models of postreplicative repair dysfunction. The study also introduces PRRDetect, a novel tool with significant implications for personalized cancer treatment and immunotherapies.

Dr Gene Koh is jointly affiliated with:

  • Department of Genomic Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine, University of Cambridge
  • Early Cancer Institute, Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge
  • Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences, ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University, Malaysia

We celebrate this milestone as a reflection of the world-class research and international collaboration we strive for at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University.
