SynopsisThis subject introduces students to underlying oral communication skills and techniques, including the fundamentals and principles of public speaking preparation and presentation. The focus is on presenting public speeches in business, professional, and public settings. The course includes practice in preparing, presenting, and evaluating speeches, as well as other forms of oral presentations such as informative, persuasive, and occasional speeches.
Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Implement different styles of presentation utilizing effective delivery techniques in public speaking.
  2. Explain ideas for various types of oral presentations.
  3. Demonstrate the skills required to deliver public speeches and presentations in a group setting.
