Careers
Do you enjoy physics, but are you worried about what jobs there are for physicists in the real world?
Studying physics, at a basic level, emphasizes problem solving and abstract thinking. As such, this training opens up opportunities in a surprisingly wide variety of areas, including education, finance, and journalism, as well as the more "traditional" areas such as universities and research labs. These skills, as well as the knowledge gained in studying subjects such as lasers, computer use, image processing and electronics, also make physicists desirable employees in high tech companies.
