Global Partnerships in Medicine: Sulaiman Al Rajhi University Visits SMLS

ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University was honoured to welcome distinguished delegates from Sulaiman Al Rajhi University. Sulaiman Al Rajhi University is a private research institution situated in Al-Bukayriyah, Qassim Province, Saudi Arabia. It comprises three specialised institutes offering courses in medicine, nursing, and applied medical sciences.

The purpose of this visit was to meet with representatives from ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University's School of Medical and Life Sciences to explore potential avenues for collaboration.  SMLS was represented by Prof. Vetriselvan Subramaniyan, the Deputy Dean (Internationalisation) at SMLS as well as Prof. Khatijah Abdullah and Prof. Roslina Abdul Manap. ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University's Provost, Prof Abhimanyu Veerakumarasivam was also present. Sulaiman Al Rajhi University was represented by Dr Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Muhaimid (President of Sulaiman Al-Rajhi University), Dr Bandar Al-Ayidi (General Manager of Business Development), and Mr Mohammed Al-Barradi (Director of University Life Administration).

Discussions centred around academic partnerships, student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, and curriculum development. Both institutions expressed a strong commitment to fostering innovation in medical and life sciences education, and it is hoped that this will result in a productive relationship.
