We’re thrilled to welcome Associate Professor Dr Yow Yoon Yen, an esteemed algae biotechnologist whose research focuses on developing R&D products from algae for neurodegenerative disease prevention, antimicrobial agents, and cosmeceutical applications.

Her impressive collaborations with institutions like Hong Kong University, University of Groningen, and NUS have led to outstanding achievements, and multiple prestigious awards, including the Mahathir Science Award Fund (2023) and Outstanding Woman in Science (Biotechnology).
