Lauren Bosc, Program Officer, Research Partnerships, moderates this panel focusing on large long-term grant planning and featuring two partnership grant leaders: Dr. Shauna MacKinnon, Associate Professor and Chair, Urban and Inner-City Studies; and Dr. Mavis Reimer, Dean of Graduate Studies; Professor, Department of English; Canada Research Chair in Young People’s Texts and Cultures, 2005-2015.
After providing a primer on their projects, Dr. MacKinnon and Dr. Reimer will touch upon the following topics:
- Their/their team’s motivations for pursuing a large/long-term grant project over other types of timelines
- Challenges they’ve faced with the timeline/scale of the project
- Reflections on the grant process and grant management
There will be time for questions after the panel discussion.
