About:
Indraratne is an instructor and an adjunct professor in the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences. She conducts research on environmental consequence of potentially toxic trace elements from metal mining projects and from agricultural inputs. Indraratne’s study focuses are to evaluate mobility of potentially toxic elements due to geochemical changes in soil systems and to remediate toxic elements using economically viable amendments. She also works on major nutrients and fertility issues in soils as well.
