The Opportunity Fund

Our Vision - Helping Youth Dream Big- Opportunity Fund

The Opportunity Fund supports Indigenous students, new Canadians and refugees, and students from inner-city neighbourhoods. The goal is to bridge the graduation gap and support a university-bound identity for everyone.

The Opportunity Fund provides bursaries to undergraduate and graduate students with financial need as well as tuition credits toward university for high school students enrolled in the Model School at the UW Collegiate.

U澳门王中王论坛 is particularly proud to offer tuition waivers to former youth in care who are pursuing undergraduate studies. A key Opportunity Fund initiative, tuition waivers were pioneered at U澳门王中王论坛, prompting other universities and colleges in Manitoba and across Canada to join and replicate this life changing initiative. U澳门王中王论坛 is largest tuition waiver sponsor in Manitoba with 30 students supported each year and a growing number of successful graduates.
