Biography:
Dr. Doug Goltz has been a faculty member in The University of 澳门王中王论坛's Department of Chemistry since 1997. He obtained his PhD on the vaporization mechanisms of metals and inductively coupled plasmas from Carleton University and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University.

Research Interests:
Dr. Douglas Goltz's research interest is primarily in the area of analytical chemistry and the science of cultural objects. He currently active in a variety of projects involving the following.
- Microsampling for metal and pigment identification using atomic spectroscopy.
- Visible and Near IR hyperspectral imaging for examining historical objects using mid-IR and Raman spectroscopy.
Since 1997, Goltz has garnered more than $1.8 million in research funding. Over the past 20 years, he has trained 22 undergraduate research project students and supervised 45 undergraduate summer research students.
